Customizing NPCs via console - posted in Skyrim Mod Talk:.A wild Forum Lurker appears!. Ok, so I've been wondering, is it possible to change a npc's facial/skin tone/hair appearance with the console? To change your appearance in Skyrim, you need to visit the Ragged Flagon in Riften and see a woman named Galathil. The Ragged Flagon is the Thieves Guild’s tavern, and is located in the city’s subterranean sewer system.

Hey all,
I think we've all wanted to be able to change how NPCs look at least at one point our play-throughs, either because we thought they looked too ugly and the appearance didn't suit their character, or simply because their FaceGen broke for some reason (conflicting mod for example). Up the full movie free.

You can do this using the NPC Visual Transfer Tool by ThreeTen, both on Oldrim and Special Edition. NOTE: The Special Edition version is basically identical to the Oldrim version (since I didn't alter any of the core code/features while porting) so if you don't want to read, a video walkthrough is linked here (courtesy of AV Storyteller): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GiUf_0L_GA Oldrim: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64875/? SE: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8764/?

The problem could also be the result of improper configuration or incompatible hardware. Typically, out-of-date, corrupt or missing Audio Drivers can cause problems such as a 'No Sound' error, or crackled or distorted sound. Win xp sound driver download. Upgrading from one version of Windows to another can create problems, because your current driver may work only for the previous version of Windows.

Please note that you'll need the latest version of xEdit per the game that you'll be using.

For NMM Users: Install NPC Visual Transfer using 'Download with Manager', and install the mod as usual. In your Data folder, you should see a NPC Visual Transfer folder. Inside, there will be a .bat file- run that. When running this the first time through, it will ask you if you want to create a new .esp for the Visual Transfer data. You can name it whatever you like, but make sure that it is below any NPC-related mod once you're done (any mod that alters NPC records). You'll then proceed to a new window like this: http://imgur.com/a/uUPZ0

Now, select an NPC whose visuals you want to use- if its a follower mod, make sure it was activated in the load order beforehand. Then, select the NPC you want to change, and voila- you have done it! Quit, and save. Microsoft standard vga graphics adapter. (NOTE: Only save the created .esp, if your follower .esp shows up, uncheck it!)

Enjoy your altered NPC appearance in your game :)

MO (courtesy of Grim): '

  1. all of the .pas files must be copied to the directory where sseedit stores it scripts, example: C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonSkyrim Special EditionEdit Scripts

  2. launch sseedit through MO

  3. Deselect all mods except the mods you will use for the transfer and the mod you are going to store them in (3 mods total, 1 source (the mod that contains the npc you want to copy the visuals from), 1 reference (the mod or dlc you want to transfer the source to), and 1 destination (the mod that will be your NPC replacer mod, i called mine 'my npc replacer' if you don't have an npc replacer mod selected, the script should prompt you to create one. After you create it you can continue to use the same mod and keep adding NPCs to that mod.

  4. on the left hand portion of the GUI select all of your mods, right click and select 'apply script' and from the drop down at the top select 'NPCVisualTransfer' and click on OK at the bottom. please note the messages that pop up and insure that your load order conforms.

  5. from here, follow the steps as normal.. EXCEPT.. do not close the final screen yet, you will need the paths that are listed at the bottom of the screen. at this point every thing will look like it has worked correctly but it has not, it is supposed to copy and rename 2 files on the last step, it says that it does and that it completes but it does not, you have to manually copy and rename these files to they're correct destination, the source to copy from/to and the name of the input and output files are listed on that page you were not supposed to close yet. Example:

Copying C:UsersGrimjerkAppDataLocalTempSSEEditmeshesactorscharacterfacegendatafacegeomMani Follower.esp00000D62.nif to D:Skyrim SEmodsVNPC_DatameshesactorscharacterfacegendatafacegeomSkyrim.esm0001336B.nif Copying C:UsersGrimjerkAppDataLocalTempSSEEdittexturesactorscharacterfacegendatafacetintMani Follower.esp00000D62.dds to D:Skyrim SEmodsVNPC_DatatexturesactorscharacterfacegendatafacetintSkyrim.esm0001336B.dds

these files must be copied from the listed directories to the correct destination directories and renamed to the correct file name (at the very end of the copy statement).

6. now you can close the script window and sseedit, make sure that you only save your replacer file when prompted.

7. make sure that VNPC_Data and your mod are activated in MO and launch the game. MO may crash at this point, just relaunch it.

Hexen heretic series. unfortunately it does not look like anyone is maintaining this script (lack of replies to comments), nor does it look like lepresidente is updating MO so this issue may never get fixed. I am going to submit a bug report with all of the things i have discovered trying to get this to work in MO2.

Now, if you need any help or assistance, I'll only be able to provide support on the Special Edition page, as ThreeTen has retired from modding and has thus entrusted me with its maintenance.
